In this role, you will serve as the primary AI compliance attorney supporting our portfolio of AWS AI services. You will work directly with business, legal, and policy teams as lead counsel to develop regulatory compliance plans and strategy for AI. You will identify legal risks and propose novel mitigation strategies, advise on responsible AI and regulatory compliance matters, provide input on business strategy, and contribute to AI public policy positions around the world.
You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways, and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business to innovate and scale quickly. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations, be inquisitive and enthusiastic about technology, and enjoy working hard and being continually challenged.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
