Original job description

Content provided by the employer

Ring's mission is to make neighborhoods safer. The Neighbors team advances this mission by building community-powered features that connect people with hyper-local safety information and enable real-time collective action when it matters most — whether that's finding a lost pet, staying informed about local fire events, or helping public safety agencies coordinate with residents.

We are seeking an AI-native Product Manager - Technical (Builder) to own and drive Neighbors community features including Search Party, Fire Watch, and Community Requests. In this role, you will leverage AI tools and approaches throughout your product workflow — from automated data analysis and feature validation to prototyping and accelerating engineering delivery. You will set the AI-native systems and standards that other Builders across the Neighbors team adopt.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for Neighbors features (Search Party, Community Requests, Fire Watch), defining vision, strategy, and priorities.

- Define and deliver AI/ML-powered features that enhance real-time community coordination.

- Leverage AI-native tools and approaches to accelerate product discovery, prototyping, and validation.

- Identify friction points in community engagement and response workflows through data analysis, and drive product solutions that eliminate them.

- Work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, UX design, and community operations to ship features from concept to launch.

- Write clear product requirements documents, user stories, and technical specifications.

- Analyze customer behavior, engagement metrics, and community outcomes to inform prioritization and measure feature success.

About the team
Neighbors by Ring is a free, hyper-local community that helps people stay informed and connected on safety matters — whether or not they own a Ring device. Ring provides Neighbors as a tool for communities to connect and share valuable safety information from reliable sources
