As a key member of the NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialists Solutions Architecture team, your role involves spearheading the conception, development, and execution of ground-breaking data center networks for NVIDIA customers under the Plan, Design, & Implement (PDI) framework. You will play an important role in advancing comprehensive technology solutions for our strategic clientele in web2.0, cloud, HPC AI, and enterprise datacenter domains. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying areas for improvement in business technology, providing valuable insights, and furnishing recommendations to both marketing and engineering teams to improve our overall product strategy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing Ethernet and routing expertise to customers during project delivery to design, architect, configure and test Ethernet networking solutions

  • Work in multi-functional teams to provide Ethernet networking expertise to server infrastructure builds, accelerated computing workloads and GPU enabled AI applications

  • Crafting and evaluating DevOps automation scripts for network operations, designing architectures, and developing switch fabric configurations.

  • Implementing tasks related to network configuration and validation for data centers.

  • Create Methods of Procedure and deployment documents

  • Validate network architectures and configs in the lab

  • Create network automation scripts and customize them to specific customers' needs utilizing AI tools

  • Interact directly with customers to obtain required information to design and build optimal solutions

  • Use software and AI tools to validate and monitor network performance

  • Create project documents to hand over to the customer upon project completion

  • Travel onsite to the customers' data Centers to perform initial configuration work, up to 20%

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of expertise in networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, and data center architecture.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and building network fabrics for scalable data center compute clusters, including CLOS and spine-leaf architectures.

  • Strong proficiency in BGP, VxLAN, and EVPN for network design and troubleshooting (2+ years), with strong overall Ethernet, TCP/IP, switching and routing experience (2+ years).

  • Advanced network troubleshooting skills using packet sniffers and analysis tools (2+ years).

  • Strong Linux administration background and computer hardware architecture (2+ years).

  • 1+ years of direct customer-facing experience in network requirement gathering, analysis, project planning, and deployment.

  • Proficiency in network automation using Ansible, Salt, and Python scripting (1+ years).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated team player capable of independently prioritizing tasks, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% and work non-standard hours as needed.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD.
