Description
As the Account Executive owning the Amazon Business relationship, you will drive Apple's SMB and B2B commercial strategy end to end — from executive relationship management and deal structuring to services enrollment and joint marketing execution. You'll operate at both the strategic and tactical level, building the long-term roadmap while also managing weekly operational execution.
Responsibilities
Own the Amazon Business commercial relationship for Apple's SMB and B2B segment including Higher Ed — responsible for achieving sales growth aligned with annual plans, driving services enrollment, device management adoption, and AppleCare+ attach.
Serve as the primary commercial point of contact between Apple and the partner, accountable for executive-level relationship management and quarterly business reviews.
Build and present data-backed narratives to justify commercial strategies, deal structures, and investment proposals to senior leadership — both internally and at the partner.
Lead day-to-day business execution including partner forecasting, inventory management, operational optimization, and cross-functional coordination across Apple and Amazon teams.
In partnership with cross-functional teams, enable a joint 12-month marketing activation calendar aligned to procurement cycles, seasonal tentpoles, and key industry conferences and partner events.
Partner with WW CX to deliver B2B-specific product detail and storefront experiences that speak to IT decision-makers and institutional buyers.
Collaborate with services teams to accelerate services enrollment, create a services integration roadmap, and define the lifecycle management value proposition for B2B customers.
Identify and articulate growth drivers across SMB, mid-market, and Higher Ed segments; build strategic account plans and execute initiatives from scoping through launch.
Minimum Qualifications
Approximately 10 years of SMB/B2B sales or commercial account management experience, preferably in technology hardware or channel partnerships selling into SMB, mid-market, or Higher Education segments.
Track record of navigating complex negotiations, structuring tiered commercial programs, and delivering consistent revenue growth in a channel or marketplace environment.
Deep understanding of B2B procurement workflows, IT decision-maker buying cycles, and institutional purchasing requirements — particularly in SMB and Higher Education.
Strong analytical, forecasting and financial modeling skills with the ability to build business cases, size market opportunities, and translate data into actionable commercial strategy.
Ability to build deep cross-functional relationships internally (finance, planning, logistics, marketing, CX, services) and externally (partner commercial, marketing, and category teams).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated success building and executing volume pricing architectures, custom offer programs, or managed-spend commercial frameworks for fleet-scale deals.
Experience driving services attach and enrollment programs (e.g., device management, AppleCare+, lifecycle services) as part of a hardware sales motion.
Proven ability to develop joint marketing programs and co-op investment strategies with channel partners.
Experience with B2B marketplace platforms, procurement automation tools, or institutional purchasing systems.
Master's degree (MBA) preferred.
