Amazon is looking for a Communications Specialist to join our Selling Partner Services (SPS) Communications team, focused on trust and reputation management.

This individual must excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, have strong judgement and media relations instincts, and hold prior experience managing complex narratives and issues with press and other external audiences.

This position will be responsible for managing reactive media relations across the SPS business, which includes customer partner trust, seller experience, and small business empowerment topics. The candidate will support day-to-day reactive inbound press inquiries and strategically respond to media, while looking around corners to anticipate and prepare for emerging issues or news cycles. This person must be able to dive deeply into complex business topics and communicate clearly with internal and external audiences, including senior executives. They will be responsible for developing statements for press and other external audiences, which requires strong writing skills and the ability to manage feedback from multiple stakeholders quickly and concisely. The right candidate works effectively in a matrixed global organization, quickly builds effective working relationships, and maintains high standards under tight deadlines.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
