Original job description

Content provided by the employer

Amazon University Talent Acquisition (AUTA) is on a mission to identify and attract the world's best MBA talent — future leaders who will drive innovation across Amazon's businesses. We don't just fill roles; we shape the leadership pipeline that fuels Amazon's next chapter.

We're looking for an experienced Recruiting Manager to own MBA and Undergraduate Non-Technical recruiting operations end-to-end. In this role, you will:

- Lead a team of senior recruiters across full-lifecycle recruiting — from strategy through offer close — partnering directly with business leaders across Amazon to deliver exceptional talent

- Build and scale programs that elevate the candidate experience and strengthen Amazon's brand on top MBA campuses

- Drive operational excellence — owning metrics, mechanisms, and continuous improvement for one of Amazon's most visible and competitive talent pipelines

- Influence stakeholders at all levels — serving as a trusted advisor to hiring teams, program managers, and senior leadership on MBA hiring strategy and market intelligence

Why you'll love this role:

- High visibility, high impact — MBA hires step into leadership roles across Amazon; your work directly shapes the company's future

- Autonomy with support — you'll own the function with the backing of a seasoned AUTA leadership team invested in your growth

- Innovation space — AUTA is evolving fast; you'll have room to challenge the status quo, experiment, and build what's next in university recruiting

- Career trajectory — Amazon's scale means your next opportunity is always within reach

This is a role for a builder — someone who thrives in ambiguity, obsesses over candidate and customer experience, and wants to run a program that matters.

Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruiting strategy and execution — lead full-lifecycle recruiting across target MBA programs, from workforce planning and pipeline development through offer close and onboarding handoff

- Manage campus and candidate relationships — serve as Amazon's primary recruiting presence at assigned MBA programs; cultivate long-term partnerships with career services, student clubs, and faculty
- Partner with business stakeholders — consult with hiring managers, business unit leaders, and HRBPs to understand talent needs, calibrate role requirements, and deliver candidates who raise the bar
- Drive operational mechanisms — own recruiting metrics (pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-fill, candidate experience scores); run WBRs and deliver data-driven insights to leadership
- Develop and execute events strategy — plan and lead on-campus engagements, info sessions, coffee chats, and closed-list events that strengthen Amazon's employer brand with MBA talent

- Manage and improve recruiting processes — identify bottlenecks, design scalable workflows, and implement tools/mechanisms that increase efficiency and candidate quality

- Ensure bar-raising hiring standards — uphold Amazon's interview philosophy; coach hiring teams on behavioral interviewing, calibrate loops, and close high-priority candidates

- Deliver executive-level reporting — synthesize recruiting performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence into narratives for senior leadership
