Key job responsibilities
- Serve as a finance partner to WWSO leaders in the Data & AI space—providing financial support, driving business insights, and developing deep understanding of how Data and AI services drive revenue growth and customer adoption
- Deep dive drivers of monthly and quarterly variances in revenue and expense metrics across Data and AI services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, generative AI), providing key insights to stakeholders to inform operating strategies
- Help manage operating expense budgets for WWSO, ensuring spend remains on plan and the business stays on track against financial targets
- Lead maintenance of existing and development of new financial reports and advanced analytical tools that aid key decision-making
- Lead process improvement and automation projects to scale reporting—including leveraging AI-powered tools and analytics—collaborating cross-functionally with service finance and sales operations teams
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, write financial documents, build comprehensive tables/reports, and support cross-functional projects
- Gain firsthand exposure to AWS's AI/ML go-to-market strategy, including product launches, customer adoption patterns, and competitive dynamics in the evolving AI landscape
- Partner with AI service teams and specialist sellers to understand how AI creates customer value, translating technical innovation into financial narratives
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- 3+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
