The Role:
The Reverse Logistics Process Engineer is responsible for owning and driving the roadmap for operational excellence across the Amazon Devices reverse logistics network. This role spans multiple organizations and geographies in support of broader business objectives within the Amazon Devices Reverse Logistics ecosystem. You will define the overall Process engineering strategy for the org, build a roadmap to support that strategy, set objectives, analyze data, and drive improvements quantified with metrics.

Travel Required up to 25% (Domestic and International)

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
1. Engineer and optimize reverse logistics processes to reduce cost and improve quality
2. Lead stakeholder reviews to identify process improvement opportunities in cycle time, manufacturing efficiency, capacity planning, UPH standardization, and productivity
3. Lead technical site and line setup (line layout simulation, capacity modeling, equipment specs, system integration) and participate in run-offs to ensure designs are followed and discrepancies resolved
4. Define process engineering metrics and leverage Lean Six Sigma principles to eliminate excess process
5. Develop best practices, SOPs, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations of process engineering metrics
6. Identify and deploy best known standards locally and globally
7. Use statistical analysis and data modeling to optimize performance metrics
8. Bridge operations, engineering, and business teams to drive mindful discussions to translate operational needs into technical requirements
9. Design and coordinate cross-functional engineering projects develop business processes, define technical requirements, and ensure deliverables are completed within required time frames
10. Own the technical roadmap for operations process engineering; contribute to operational planning cycle narratives and define organizational goals for process engineering with clear, measurable success criteria

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
