Space Simulation Lab Technician, Amazon Leo SSL Redmond

Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Key job responsibilities

Key job responsibilities
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Test product on dynamics tables and in environmental chambers using MES and other systems to document work while performing splicing, torque, and other operations to precise specifications.
-Work across multiple areas in shift to support the current priorities
- You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
- Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
- Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
- Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
- Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

Willing to work 4 / 10s as assigned:


- Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Able to lift-up to 25lbs. unassisted

Basic Qualifications

- - 2 years in high volume manufacturing using precise systems and tools while working with complex product lines
- - Experience diagnosing, running, or troubleshooting test systems

Preferred Qualifications

- - Experience running dynamics tables, thermal chambers, or vacuum chambers

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
