Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for seamless, rapid and global implementation of components, BOMs, documents, and other product data supporting business strategies and supply chain requirements. Promote best practices and internal business processes with relation to change management and general PLM functions. Work with supply chain, engineering, program management, and other supporting functions to accurately structure new products and document product changes as part of the product development, continuous improvement, and sustaining engineering processes. Refine processes and grow the capabilities of current systems. Interface with key internal and external customers to accurately process changes and structure new products. Provide clear input to the project team on schedule, issues, and deliverables related to product data management. Drive timely part setup, BOM releases, and BOM changes to support new product introduction (NPI) and sustain business. Participate in continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis efficiencies.
Position Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a master’s degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) experience designing PLM solutions; (2) experience managing Bill of Materials in a Product Lifecycle Management tool; (3) experience in project management.
