Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support to integrate classical machine learning with Generative AI to support process applications such as anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, yield optimization and etc.
  • Assist in building and development of NLP (Natural Language Processing) pipelines from SMT/ Mechanical Assembly process engineering critical KPOV data manipulation (eg. SMT machine performance report, Mechanical assembly measurement output)
  • Handling unstructured engineering data such as equipment logs, FA reports, and production records, suitable for NLP-based automation (classification, summarization, insights extraction).
  • Support in processing automation and digital transformation initiatives, with growing exposure to AI tools (LLMs, prompt engineering) for knowledge retrieval and decision support.
  • Develop and maintain prompt engineering strategies for improving model performance. Document experiment, design code, and system interfaces to ensure maintainability and scalability.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related Engineering field.
  • Knowledge in Python and familiarity with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch and database (SQL) to perform data mining and analysis/ manipulation.
  • Knowledge & experienced in data analysis, statistical tools (Minitab/JMP), modeling (regression, DOE, distribution analysis),  and large dataset handling, transitioning into Python-based data processing (Pandas, NumPy) for scalable analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

PREFERRED:

  • Projects/ experienced showcasing classical ML + GenAI solutions. Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or standardized LLM/tool integrations.
