Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a legal assistant to support our Devices organization, a dynamic and growing business responsible for the development of our family of devices and related services, such as the Kindle e-reader, Fire tablet, Echo Frames and more. The legal assistant will provide administrative assistance to attorneys, contracts managers, and business partners focusing on product development, supply chain, operations, marketing, and other matters. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work efficiently and independently; manage high volumes of tasks and projects with little guidance; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround; take effective action without having to know the total picture; and think creatively and be proactive in solving problems that affect people within the group or other related groups. The candidate will also be client-service oriented, have great attention to detail and organization skills, and have the ability to easily switch gears. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information is essential.

Key job responsibilities
• Coordinating contract approvals, signatures, contract searches, organization and filings

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
