A day in the life
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Lighthouse team, you'll start your day reviewing system health and operational metrics for link connectivity services. You'll collaborate with network engineers to translate complex infrastructure requirements into elegant software solutions. Some days you'll deep-dive into production issues, driving root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes. You'll regularly mentor engineers on your team, unblocking them through pairing sessions or architecture discussions. No two days look the same—but every day directly impacts the reliability of Amazon's global network.
