About the role

ElevenLabs' platform has three offerings - ElevenAgents, ElevenCreative, and ElevenAPI. We're looking for a senior product engineer to own the ElevenAPI developer dashboard: the surface every developer building on ElevenLabs uses to manage their keys, understand their usage, and debug their integration.

You would own the vision, roadmap, and implementation of this dashboard, defining which surfaces to build, which to cut, and what genuinely helps a developer solve their own problem instead of opening a support ticket. You would run the feedback loop with real developers, make the calls, and be accountable for whether the thing works. This is a full-time focus - expanding what's there and making sure it's the place developers actually want to come back to.

Your general responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining our products and platform on top of our cutting-edge voice models, which will be used by millions of users.

• High degrees of ownership. You will be responsible for shipping end-to-end features across the front and back ends of our stack, as well as setting the direction of the features and products you're working on.

• Collaborating closely with others on the Engineering, Growth and Sales teams to understand, and design solutions for, our customers' and internal teams' most important problems and workflows.

We hire engineers with the same caliber of excellence across the company, often requesting significant flexibility in staffing engineers across the company. For this role, we have a specific set of responsibilities we are looking to fulfill:

• Standing up new features within the API platform, including increased visibility driving traffic to new product launches, such as Speech Engine.

• Building condensed usage analytics views modeled on the Agents landing page.

• Designing and shipping new metrics and observability views as developer needs surface - e.g. usage breakdowns, error/health visibility, and integration diagnostics.

• Running lightweight experiments (UI changes, new surfaces, information architecture) to learn what actually helps developers self-serve and troubleshoot.

• Contributing to ElevenLabs' open-source SDKs where there's overlap with dashboard/DX work.

Requirements

We do not require any formal experience, certifications, or degrees. Instead, we are seeking enthusiastic software engineers who can showcase solving impressively hard problems with artifacts such as past projects, designs, or GitHub contributions.

We do require:

• Expertise in TypeScript and React.

• Experience with Python.

• Familiarity with common software and system design patterns and infrastructure, including APIs, cloud infrastructure tools, storage solutions, and data structures.

• Bonus: an interest in building and maintaining open source software.

Location

This role is remote and can be executed globally. If you prefer, you can work from our offices in London, New York, San Francisco, and Warsaw.
