Key job responsibilities
AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to support several EC2 Core businesses. This role is critical in not only addressing financial deliverables (Weekly Business Review, Monthly Financial Reviews, Operating Plans, pricing/discounts, etc.) but also driving the business to find efficiencies to grow profit. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively and manage multiple time sensitive deliverables across a matrixed organization. The individual will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

A day in the life
Serve as the key business partner working directly with AWS senior management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations. Build financial models for new business concepts, make analytical judgments, and deliver data intensive analyses to drive meaningful change. Present financial summary and business insights to the business and finance leadership. Develop and standardize financial reporting packages. Drive continuous improvements in profitability, free cash flow, and operational efficiency.

About the team
This role will work closely with finance management as well as key business partners across the AWS organization, including Product Managers, Engineers and GMs, to drive thoughtful analysis and controllership. This role requires a self-starter and independent individual with strong financial modeling abilities, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
