In this role, you’ll help build our Japan organization in a high-ownership, high-growth environment. We will look to you to advise and consult with hiring managers and interviewers, proactively source and engage future Notinos, and design a rigorous hiring processes while ensuring a delightful candidate experience.

  • Inspire candidates throughout all stages of the interview process, and build a customized close for each candidate.

  • Collaborate closely with peers and cross-functional partners, including Recruiting Coordinators, HRBPs/People Partners, Compensation Partners, Recruiting Operations, Executive Operations Partners, and Revenue Operations.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • You have at least 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth, in-house environment. Agency background is also welcome if you have full-cycle IT/SaaS sales hiring experience.

  • You have a track record of directly sourcing, qualifying, and closing exceptional GTM talent (e.g. Sales, Customer Success, Pre-Sales, Professional Services) based in Tokyo.

  • You can partner with, manage, and influence leadership stakeholders effectively. You have coached and guided hiring managers and interviewers through the full recruiting process.

  • You have built diverse candidate pipelines and helped hiring managers build inclusive teams.

  • You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Japanese (written and spoken fluency in both are required.)

  • You have a relentless focus on delivering a high-touch, high-quality recruiting experience, while respecting candidates’ and hiring managers’ time.

  • You can multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

  • You’re a team player with an optimistic attitude, and you’re comfortable wearing many hats in a smaller organization.

Nice to haves:

  • You have owned the end-to-end hiring process at global SaaS companies.

  • You have managed roles and candidates across regions outside of Japan.

  • You’re a Notion power user!

A Note on AI

You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
