A day in the life
This role is for a highly dynamic and motivated individual that will work with various production system stakeholders. To be successful in this role you will need to author, maintain and troubleshoot various types of metrology equipment in support of high rate, production system operations. You will partner with Manufacturing, Design and Quality engineers to ensure both space hardware as well as production system hardware meet rigorous aerospace requirements. You will create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, investigate anomalies and provide feedback where the root cause of non-conformances is ambiguous.
About the team
The Manufacturing Systems team is a center of excellence for manufacturing engineering within a fast-growing satellite production organization. Our engineers provide Design for Manufacturability expertise across design and production teams, including GD&T reviews, tolerance analysis, and process troubleshooting on complex assemblies. The team supports a world-class internal precision machine shop, drives optimization of manufacturing execution and product lifecycle management systems, and operates a hands-on fabrication and tooling group focused on production continuity and lean process improvement. We work cross-functionally alongside design, quality, supply chain, and software teams, playing a foundational role in scaling production to meet ambitious program milestones.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
