Join Leo Commerce Org as a Principal Technical Program Manager where you'll define and deliver programs with broad cross-organizational and cross-business impact that determine how Leo Commerce scales from launch to sustained global operations. This role demands someone who can drive clarity where the business and architectural strategy has not yet been defined — and where the problem itself may not be known before starting.
As Principal TPM, you'll operate with complete independence to identify and solve significantly complex, endemic problems that span multiple VP organizations. You will own program strategy end-to-end — defining the mission, vision, tenets, and long-term priorities — while decomposing complex challenges into straightforward solutions that work across countries, architectures, and organizations. You'll influence technology direction at the VP level, build consensus among senior leaders with competing priorities, and create mechanisms that ensure programs succeed long-term with or without your direct involvement. Your deep technical judgment, strategic force-multiplication, and ability to align entire organizations toward simple, coherent approaches will be essential as you shape the future of Leo Commerce.
Key job responsibilities
You will define program strategy and drive alignment across VP organizations to deliver broad impact for Leo Commerce:
- Own end-to-end strategy for significantly complex programs in spaces where business and architectural direction is undefined
- Decompose endemic problems into straightforward solutions; eliminate repetitive cross-team effort through architecture or organizational changes
- Build consensus across VP-level stakeholders; influence technology direction and resource allocation with data-driven judgment
- Manage executive-level escalations; represent complex trade-offs clearly to leaders up to 3 levels above
- Create durable mechanisms that ensure programs succeed long-term without your direct involvement
- Steer teams away from prior technology failure patterns
- Amplify impact through mentoring, promotion assessments, and TPM community development
- You bring deep technical knowledge of commerce/distributed systems and apply it to invent, simplify, and evolve technologies.
**This role is located in Redmond, WA. No location flexibility.
Export Control Requirement: Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
