This role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to a Group Product Manager.
You will:
- Develop roadmap and determine product requirements for driving behavior as Waymo expands to new cities, leveraging product insights and driving alignment across the company
- Work on AI/ML and Planning technologies that enable Waymo’s Driver to scale in new markets, and across many hardware platforms
- Work with other PMs and cross functional teams to identify the long term product focus areas to reach expansion goals, and steer technology and engineering efforts to address them
- Thoroughly investigate data from real-world miles collected by our fleet, define requirements and guide the team to make the right trade-offs between capability, engineering complexity and other factors
- Align and work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Operations, System Engineering, and other Waymo teams to bring to market products that save lives and transform transportation
You have:
- A BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, similar technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 4-8 years of relevant product management experience
- The ability to gather and dissect large quantities of information, identify issues and trends and turn them into a thoughtful and compelling product vision and technical strategy/decisions

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
