Original job description

Content provided by the employer

NVIDIA is defining the future of autonomous vehicle development through an end-to-end accelerated computing platform spanning AI training, simulation, synthetic data generation, validation, and in-vehicle deployment. Our platform brings together NVIDIA DGX, NVIDIA Omniverse, NVIDIA Cosmos, NVIDIA Alpamayo, NVIDIA DRIVE, CUDA, and AI software to help OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, startups, researchers, and ecosystem partners build safer and more capable autonomous systems.

We are seeking a highly technical and strategic Senior Developer Relations Manager to lead developer ecosystem engagement for Autonomous Vehicles. In this role, you will serve as a primary technical advocate and ecosystem lead for developers building with NVIDIA automotive technologies. You will work closely with product, engineering, solutions architecture, sales, marketing, and regional teams to accelerate adoption, remove technical friction, and bring ecosystem feedback into NVIDIA’s roadmap. This role helps connect global Autonomous Vehicle developer engagement across partners, regions, and product teams, ensuring the ecosystem has a clear path to adopt NVIDIA’s platform and that developer feedback informs product and platform strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead technical developer engagement with strategic autonomous vehicle partners, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, startups, ISVs, and research organizations.

  • Serve as a primary DevRel point of contact for the AV developer ecosystem, helping partners adopt NVIDIA technologies across AI training, simulation, synthetic data, validation, and in-vehicle deployment.

  • Develop and deliver technical enablement programs, including workshops, sample applications, reference architectures, demos, best-practice guides, executive briefings, and industry event content.

  • Support early-access software and platform integrations with key partners, collecting feedback, identifying technical blockers, and helping drive successful adoption.

  • Champion partner requirements, architectural patterns, product gaps, and developer feedback with NVIDIA product and engineering teams.

  • Partner with solutions architects, product managers, engineering, sales, marketing, and regional teams to align developer engagement with NVIDIA’s Automotive platform strategy.

  • Build trusted relationships with technical leaders, developers, decision makers, and ecosystem influencers to accelerate adoption and deepen long-term engagement.

  • Support go-to-market and product launch activities by translating technical capabilities into clear developer value and partner outcomes.

  • Track ecosystem needs, adoption signals, and technical engagement patterns to inform roadmap priorities and future developer programs.

What we need to see:

  • 8+ years of experience in developer relations, technical partnerships, software engineering, product management, solutions architecture, or ecosystem development.

  • Strong technical background in autonomous vehicles, automotive software, AI, simulation, accelerated computing, embedded systems, or related domains.

  • Experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, AV startups, ISVs, or enterprise technology partners.

  • Hands-on experience with one or more areas such as AI model training, synthetic data generation, simulation, data pipelines, full-stack software, edge deployment, or autonomous systems.

  • Ability to engage credibly with developers and senior technical leaders while also communicating clearly with business, product, and executive stakeholders.

  • Experience translating partner feedback into product requirements, technical roadmap input, documentation improvements, and scalable enablement programs.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building trust across internal teams and external partners.

  • Hands-on experience with C++, Python, CUDA, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

  • Understanding of AI model development lifecycles, from data pipelines and training through optimization, validation, and deployment on edge devices.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with NVIDIA DRIVE, DGX, Omniverse, Cosmos, CUDA, CUDA-X, NeMo, or NVIDIA AI Enterprise.

  • Direct experience with ADAS/AD software stacks, including perception, sensor fusion, planning, simulation, validation, or safety workflows.

  • Familiarity with automotive safety and development standards such as ISO 26262.

  • Experience building or scaling developer communities, partner enablement programs, technical workshops, or ecosystem campaigns.

  • Background with world foundation models, generative AI, physical AI, synthetic data, or GPU-accelerated simulation.

  • Strong understanding of the challenges autonomous vehicle developers face when adopting AI technologies at production scale.
