NVIDIA has an opportunity for a Global Immigration Specialist to join our HR Compliance and Immigration Team. In this role you will support international immigration. You should understand current immigration requirements and remain abreast on new developments in EMEA and APAC regions. You will serve as the main point of contact for managers, new hires, existing employees, and the HR team on all immigration matters in jurisdictions outside the United States.
What you'll be doing:
Maintain and enhance partnership with global vendors
Guide employees and managers on immigration policies and requirements while maintaining worldwide consistency and equity
Act as liaison between candidates, transfers and outside counsel to provide continuous support and coordination to effectively progress the immigration process
Facilitate assessment of new candidates and transfers as presented for eligibility of sponsorship
Identify and mitigate risk
Analyze complex immigration matters and effectively communicate solutions to internal clients in collaboration with outside immigration counsel
Actively identify process improvements focusing on employee experience
Monitor and respond to global immigration matters via our shared immigration mailbox
Escalate and monitor issues while maintain communication with key stakeholders
Partner with immigration team members on projects aimed at enhancing process and improving employee experience
