Original job description

Content provided by the employer

NVIDIA is widely recognized as one of the most sought-after employers, with some of the most dedicated people in the world working for us! The Agent Policy Fabric (APF) team is building durable, signed policy authority and the supporting supply chain for governed AI-agent actions.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our APF team and shape an approved direction and substantial component work into one coordinated engineering program. You will play a critical role in bringing APF, Security, OpenShell, and partner engineering teams together around shared milestones, clear ownership, and evidence-backed completion criteria. You will help the program grow from strong individual components into an integrated system, and you will keep everyone honest about what is decided, what is built, and what remains open. This is a chance to define how a new program runs from its earliest days.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Program Foundations: Establish the roadmap, milestones, ownership model, decision cadence, dependency tracking, and risk management for APF v0.

  • Cross-team Coordination: Coordinate work spanning canonical policy, signing and distribution, registry projection, runtime integration, credential mediation, audit evidence, and conformance.

  • Decision Resolution: Guide cross-team architecture and ownership questions to closure together with technical leads.

  • End-to-End Proofs: Organize integrated proofs for the GitLab and Slack paths while preserving Outlook's bounded v0 scope.

  • Program Status: Maintain internal status that separates approved direction, landed implementation, proposed work, component evidence, and open dependencies.

What We Need To See:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 12+ years leading complex technical programs across security, platform, infrastructure, or distributed-systems organizations.

  • Technical depth: Fluency to reason about service contracts, signed artifacts, policy enforcement, credentials, audit systems, and test evidence.

  • Dependency management: A history of resolving cross-team dependencies and clarifying ambiguous ownership boundaries.

  • Judgment: You distinguish clearly between a design decision, an implementation milestone, and a validated capability.

  • Communication: You share precise program status without overstating readiness.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Agent Systems: Program experience with AI-agent platforms, automation governance, or policy enforcement systems.

  • Supply-Chain Security: Familiarity with artifact signing, provenance, or software supply-chain integrity frameworks.

  • Evidence-Based Delivery: Experience defining completion through observable, reproducible evidence rather than activity alone.

With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology industry's most desirable employers. We have some of the most forward-thinking and versatile people in the world working with us, and our engineering teams are growing fast in some of the most impactful fields of our generation: E-commerce Payments and Gaming Marketplace.
