Original job description
Content provided by the employer
The NVIDIA Industrial Engineering organization is a strong and visible team pushing the boundaries of accelerated computing in the CAE domain. We’re looking for a self-starter with a mixture of technical and soft skills to craft technical content to educate and excite developers on groundbreaking technologies in CAE solvers. You will develop content that inspires developers and engineers to adopt the NVIDIA platform through technical marketing assets and enables them through examples, documentation, and tutorials. You will also benchmark EDA workflows to demonstrate the value of the NVIDIA platform in this important industry.
Do you have the rare blend of both technical and communication skills? Are you passionate about groundbreaking technology? Do you love to make highly technical solutions simple and approachable? If so, we would love to learn more about you!
What You'll Be Doing:
Benchmarking: Maintain a suite of CAE solver benchmarking solvers and results across NVIDIA platforms. Build and complete performance studies that demonstrate the value of GPU acceleration for real-world simulation workloads, including scaling analysis, solver comparisons, and workflow profiling.
Building: Collaborate with internal engineering and marketing teams as well as external partners to build product-based how-to technical content — including benchmark methodology guides, performance reference architectures, and solution briefs.
Communicating: Deliver high-quality technical material to engineers, developers, and scientists through blogs, whitepapers, training materials, and conference presentations that highlight benchmark findings and platform capabilities.
Enabling: Build high-quality training materials and documentation to help researchers and developers get the most out of NVIDIA-accelerated CAE workflows.
What We Need To See:
Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of meaningful experience.
3+ years of hands-on familiarity with one or more CAE simulation tools such as STAR-CCM+, Fluent, FUN3D, OVERFLOW, LS-DYNA, Abaqus, and HFSS.
Experience with Linux based HPC environments including job schedulers (e.g., Slurm, PBS, LSF) and MPI-based workloads.
Passionate about communicating complex ideas in simple ways.
Strong understanding of how CPU/GPU utilization, memory, and interconnects impact parallel performance.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Master's degree or higher from a leading university in an Engineering or Computer Science related field
Direct experience with multiple ISV applications across CAE and EDA domains
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience with containerized HPC environments
