Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned AI Software Stack Validation Leader to own end‑to‑end system validation, acceptance, and release readiness of a complex, multi‑layer AI software stack spanning frameworks, compilers, runtimes, drivers, firmware, and hardware platforms.
The leader will build and scale a high‑impact validation team, architect modern validation infrastructure, and work cross‑functionally with architecture, platform, firmware, silicon, and customer engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end validation strategy for the AI software stack across:
- Frameworks / serving layers
- Compiler and graph transformation layers
- Runtime, scheduling, memory management
- Drivers, Firmware and hardware interfaces
- Define system acceptance criteria that capture correctness, stability, performance, scalability, and regressions across layers.
- Drive left‑shifted validation, enabling meaningful coverage well before full hardware.
- Establish formal acceptance test plans and measurable exit criteria for each release milestone.
- Architect scalable validation environments and test frameworks
- Drive best‑in‑class practices in automation, regression, stress, scale, and performance validation.
- Influence architecture decisions by providing early validation feedback and system risk assessment.
- Build, mentor, and scale a validation engineering team with deep system understanding.
- Foster a culture of quality, technical rigor, and product ownership.
Qualifications
- 14+ years of experience in system software, platform validation, or end‑to‑end software quality engineering.
- Strong hands‑on background across multiple layers of the software stack.
- Proven experience defining and owning system acceptance criteria and release decisions.
- Deep expertise in debugging complex cross‑layer issues involving software, firmware, and hardware.
- Experience leading and scaling senior technical teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate risk, readiness, and trade‑offs to senior leadership.
