Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Staff Technology Development Engineer to join our innovative team in Fujisawa City, Japan.
In this critical role, you will deliver solutions to build data pipelines and a data lake that are optimized for an AI/ML environment with a company in a cooperative relationship.
In this project, we develop and deliver ETL solutions based on a world-class standard architecture to emphasize AI/ML capabilities that support memory technology innovation. We work with end users to enhance their capability to utilize data for device development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including a company in a cooperative relationship, to build end-to-end data pipeline solutions.
Demonstrate good communication skills among the team and report progress to upper management.
Qualifications
This position requires a minimum BS degree in Information Engineering, Programming Engineering, Data Science or a similar program, or 10-15 years of experience in system engineering, with a proven track record of successful application / data store development.
The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of IT application architect and experience on application development, problem determination, continuous enhancement and maintenance.
The ideal individual has a deep understanding on database architecture.
The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
Fluency in English are required; proficiency in Japanese is highly desirable
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proficient in Python programming.
The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.
