Job Description

You will be part of our Global Network engineering team responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our regional/local network infrastructure, ensuring high network performance/reliability, and delivering critical network services to meet business goals. 

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Execute assigned network service and feature tasks by following established standards, procedures, runbooks, and implementation plans. 

  • Assist with deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, DHCP, DNS, and related network services under guidance from senior engineers. 

  • Support small, well-defined network changes and maintenance window activities while ensuring change records, validation steps, and backout plans are complete. 

  • Participate in incident triage by collecting logs, validating symptoms, documenting troubleshooting steps, and escalating issues with clear technical details. 

  • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, implementation notes, and handover details for assigned tasks. 

  • Work with peers, operations teams, vendors, and other IT functions to complete assigned service requests and project tasks on time and with quality. 

  • Interact/communicate with vendors, service providers, peers, stakeholders, and business units for effective integration/operations of services and systems. 

  • Participate in IT projects and Maintenance Window activities. 

  • Maintain close collaboration with other global IT functional teams while working outside of business hours. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Networking or any related discipline.
  • 2+ years of professional experience or equivalent foundational knowledge in enterprise networking, network operations, infrastructure support, or related technical roles 

Preferred:

  • Basic understanding of IP networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, Load Balancers, wireless, and firewall fundamentals. 
  • Ability to follow documented standards, runbooks, change procedures, and troubleshooting guides with guidance from senior engineers. 
  • Developing skills with network monitoring, logging, IP address management, configuration backup, and ticketing tools. 
  • Good documentation habits, including the ability to update network diagrams, implementation notes, validation steps, and handover details. 
  • Strong learning mindset, attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work effectively with peers, operations teams, and stakeholders. 
  • Good documentation skills include creating and maintaining network diagrams. 
  • Good project management, analytical, and problem determination/resolution skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish professional working relationships with varying levels of both business and technical personnel. 
  • A great teammate, a fast learner, with a focus on getting stuff done. 

Skills
