Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Development Engineer to join our team at Sandisk. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our digital twin and machine learning software tools. Key responsibilities include:

1. Develop and enhance our Machine Learning software solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy across the design and manufacturing processes.
2. Develop and optimize data management system / data pipeline to ensure data quality and operation efficiency.
3. Working closely with shareholders to understand engineering problems, and develop automation solutions that streamline workflows, minimize human error, and enhance the interpretation of results.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

·       M.S. Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative/engineering field;

·       Solid understanding in software development process, and proficiency in back-end software/website development.

·       Firm understanding in data engineering and proficiency in development of database and data pipeline.

·       Proficient in leveraging coding agent and AI tools for daily work  

·       Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability  

·       Good communication, relationship skills and a team player

PREFERRED:

·       Firm understanding of statistical modeling and data analytics methods

·       Experience/coursework/research in machine learning and deep learning

·       Knowledge in structural, thermal or mechanical in package engineering

·       Interested in semiconductor industry.
