NVIDIA is redefining transportation through accelerated computing, AI, and autonomous driving. Our Automotive team works with global automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, mobility companies, and ecosystem partners to bring next-generation ADAS, autonomous driving, cockpit AI, and robotaxi platforms to market. We are now looking for an Automotive Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will help develop new and existing business opportunities for NVIDIA’s automotive platforms, support strategic customer engagements, and drive design-win opportunities across ADAS, autonomous driving, and AI-enabled vehicle architectures.
This is a highly cross-functional role that requires a strong understanding of automotive electronics, semiconductors, software platforms, and the evolving autonomous mobility ecosystem. The ideal candidate can combine critical thinking with execution rigor, build positive relationships with customers and partners, and help translate NVIDIA’s technology leadership into scalable business outcomes!
What you’ll be doing:
Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic business opportunities for NVIDIA Automotive across global OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, mobility providers, software partners, and ecosystem players.
Support and drive customer engagements for NVIDIA DRIVE platforms, including ADAS, autonomous driving, cockpit AI, simulation, and robotaxi-related initiatives.
Work closely with Automotive product, engineering, software, regional sales, marketing, legal, finance, and operations teams to align customer requirements with NVIDIA’s platform roadmap.
Build and manage strategic relationships with OEMs, Tier 1s, ISVs, IHVs, universities, research institutions, and ecosystem partners.
Help build and complete go-to-market strategies for new automotive AI and autonomous driving opportunities.
Develop cases, market analyses, competitive assessments, pricing inputs, and strategic recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Coordinate complex design-win activities across commercial, technical, legal, and operational workstreams.
Represent NVIDIA externally with customers, partners, collaborators, and, when appropriate, the broader automotive and technology community.
Track market trends across ADAS, autonomous driving, robotaxis, AI-defined vehicles, EV platforms, and automotive semiconductor architectures.
Support strategic alliance development to accelerate adoption of NVIDIA’s automotive platforms globally.
What we need to see:
12+ years of experience in automotive electronics, semiconductors, mobility, autonomous driving, ADAS, or related technology markets.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, economics, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
Deep understanding of the automotive industry, including OEM and Tier 1 decision-making processes, platform sourcing, vehicle development cycles, and production program execution.
Strong understanding of semiconductor platforms, AI computing, software-defined vehicles, and automotive system architectures.
Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and support complex business development or strategic partnership engagements.
Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in building arguments, assessing market opportunities, analyzing competitive dynamics, and supporting strategic decisions with data.
Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent NVIDIA professionally in external engagements.
Capacity to collaborate effectively across global teams and prioritize multiple demands under tight timelines.

Your cash compensation will be determined based on your location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions with 85% paid through base salary and 15% variable compensation. The cash compensation range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
