The Experience
Salesforce is seeking a highly effective Director to join our management-led SOX 360 Program Office. This multifaceted leader will act as a strategic advisor across our global enterprise, translating deep technical knowledge (US GAAP, ICFR, and PCAOB auditing requirements) into practical, modern business solutions. This role will primarily focus on the Quote to Cash End-to-End business processes and will also support other business process areas as needed. The ideal candidate will combine strong emotional intelligence with independent critical thinking to drive cross-functional SOX readiness initiatives and champion process excellence in a fast-scaling, dynamic environment.

Lead your team as the subject matter authority for your assigned process areas — owning the controls, policies, and external reporting standards that govern them
Partner across the business to spot risk early, redesign controls that reduce exposure, and assess deficiencies before they become surprises
Keep SOX documentation (flowcharts, narratives, controls) audit-ready and accurate as the single source of truth for your areas
Drive automation and analytics adoption to lean out compliance work without reducing control effectiveness
Own the external auditor relationship for your areas: run walkthroughs, present control fact patterns, and align on scope and thresholds
Mentor and grow your team, delivering the kind of direct, actionable feedback that builds future leaders
You're Our Person If...
10+ years of related audit & accounting experience preferably gained in both public accounting and private industry

Previous experience supporting a company's SOX program and crafting and implementing a system of internal controls, large-scale management-led SOX organization
Strong background in public company SOX compliance requirements, accounting, and finance processes, including a solid understanding of the concepts of control design and operational efficiency
Strong knowledge/experience with key business processes including Quote-to-Cash, Order-to-Cash, ASC 606 and auditing requirements including Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) requirements and US GAAP
Familiarity with financial systems as they relate to reviewing and improving internal controls
Even Better If...
