As a Facilities Chemical/Gas Systems Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the operational excellence, reliability, and safety of Intel's vacuum, abatement and other support systems that are critical to our advanced manufacturing processes. Your expertise in these systems along with regulatory compliance will directly support Intel's mission to innovate and deliver technology that enriches lives globally. This role is integral to maintaining Intel's world-class facilities, driving sustainability efforts, and enabling cutting-edge research and development for decades to come.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering leadership for chemical and gas systems to support safety, reliability, quality, and cost objectives.

  • Oversee the preventative and corrective maintenance of vacuum pumps, abatement and other support systems to meet business needs. You will have input into planning, design, and construction of the Subfab support equipment.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to Subfab systems (i.e. vacuum pumps and abatement systems).

  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve system performance issues.

  • Collaborate with internal customers, technicians, and multidisciplinary teams to design and optimize systems for semiconductor manufacturing requirements.

  • Create scopes of work, bid proposals, and review documentation to ensure alignment with project scope, budget, and schedule.

  • Oversee and be responsible for acceptance post commissioning equipment and components to meet operational specifications.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and reduce total cost of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications:

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $89,010.00-170,630.00 USD
