The Role and Impact

As a Facilities Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Intel's future by designing and developing equipment installation packages for First-Of-a-Kind manufacturing equipment necessary to produce cutting-edge microprocessors and system-on-chip technologies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation in tool install designs while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers. As a structural engineer you will oversee the design and fabrication of steel pedestals that serve as permanent fab foundations for 300mm equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the design and implementation of steel pedestal designs in CAD/Revit.

- Design, execute, and analyze engineering experiments to pilot and refine innovative construction practices.

- Collaborate with suppliers to design, qualify, and improve equipment and systems, ensuring alignment with manufacturing requirements.

- Develop and maintain Intel Master Design Specifications (IMDS) for tool install infrastructure and process technologies.

- Partner with internal stakeholders and global supply chain teams to ensure smooth technology transfers and equipment startup.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $89,010.00-125,660.00 USD
