Global Agency Lead WPP – Director Partner Sales
This role serves as the General Manager of one of Adobe’s most strategic global agency alliances, WPP, with end-to-end accountability for strategy, growth, and business performance. Operating as the senior-most leader for the partnership, this executive will define and execute a multi-year vision to scale revenue, expand market influence, and drive co-innovation across Adobe’s cross-cloud ecosystem.
The GM will own the alliance as a business—shaping joint investments, orchestrating global go-to-market (GTM), and ensuring measurable outcomes across pipeline, bookings, and customer success. This leader will act as the primary executive interface between Adobe and the partner, aligning C-suite stakeholders and mobilizing global teams to deliver differentiated solutions and sustained growth.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring a combination of strategic thinking, commercial rigor, and executive influence, with the ability to operate across a complex, matrixed global organization.
Key Responsibilities
General Management & Alliance Strategy
Own the global alliance as a business, including vision, strategy, and multi-year growth plan aligned to Adobe’s corporate priorities
Define and drive joint investment strategy, ensuring focus on highest-value opportunities across industries, geographies, and solution areas
Identify, incubate, and scale new revenue streams, business models, and innovation opportunities
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
Lead end-to-end revenue accountability, including partner-influenced pipeline, bookings, and long-term growth targets
Architect and scale global co-sell motions, including alignment with hyperscalers and ecosystem partners, to increase deal velocity and win rates
Personally engage in strategic deal shaping, executive sponsorship, and closing of high-impact opportunities
Executive Leadership & Influence
Serve as the primary executive relationship owner with the partner, building deep, trust-based engagement at the C-suite level
Align partner executives with Adobe’s senior leadership to drive shared priorities, investments, and accountability
Represent the alliance externally through industry events, thought leadership, and executive forums
Joint Solutions & Category Leadership
Lead the development and global GTM of differentiated joint offerings that deliver measurable customer outcomes – needs familiarity with agency services offerings and associated Mar-Tech/Ad-Tech.
Champion Adobe’s cross-cloud strategy within the partner ecosystem to accelerate adoption of integrated solutions
Position the alliance as a market leader through co-innovation, IP development, and industry-specific solutions
Global Operating Model & Governance
Establish and adhere a world-class governance model, including executive steering committees, QBRs, and performance management frameworks
Own and drive a balanced scorecard across pipeline, bookings, partner practice growth, and customer success metrics
Ensure operational excellence and consistency across regions while enabling local market agility
Field Alignment & Team Leadership
Lead and inspire a high-performing, globally distributed team (direct and matrixed) supporting the alliance
Drive tight alignment between Adobe field sales and partner teams to maximize market coverage and impact – be a change agent
Build scalable engagement models that increase leverage, efficiency, and speed of execution
Experience & Leadership Profile
15+ years of experience in global alliances and global agencies, strategic partnerships, and/or enterprise sales leadership
Proven success operating with global accountability for revenue growth and partnership performance at scale
Demonstrated ability to influence C-level executives and lead within complex, matrixed global organizations
Strong commercial acumen, including pipeline development, deal structuring, and forecasting
Experience leading global teams and driving cross-functional execution in high-growth environments
Recognized as a thought leader with strong executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills
Experience working with or within global agency ecosystems strongly preferred

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $256,900 -- $414,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.In New York, the pay range for this position is $286,400 - $414,800
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
