Summary

The people here at Apple don't just create products — they create the kind of wonder that's revolutionized entire industries. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple and help us leave the world better than we found it.

The Commercial team is involved in both the day-to-day running and long-term planning of Apple Music. Within Commercial, the New Growth Programs team is an incubator dedicated to identifying, testing, and scaling new ways to grow Apple Music subscribers.

We are looking for a program lead to own one of the team's core tentpoles: growing Apple Music through Apple's hardware route to market. This spans Apple Retail (online and in-store), the worldwide sales channel, and hardware partnerships, with the goal of making Apple Music a selling point at the moment customers buy their hardware

Description

In this role, you will take growth ideas from concept to market across the retail and channel pillar. You will design the commercial constructs — offers, incentives, co-funding, and merchandising — that make Apple Music part of the hardware purchase, and you will drive the cross-functional execution needed to land them with Apple Retail, Worldwide Sales, regional teams, Finance, Marketing, and Product.

This is a role for someone who can hold the whole play in their head and see it through: set the vision, map the play-by-play, bring the right teams together, and keep the ball moving until the program is live and measured. You will be the person every partner team knows to call.

Responsibilities

Design and launch commercial programs that grow Apple Music subscribers and retention through Apple Retail and the hardware sales channel, from pilot to scaled rollout
Define channel-specific constructs — offers, extended trials, tiered and bundled propositions, partner incentives, and co-funding models — and translate them into clear go-to-market plans.
Shape and influence how Apple Music is merchandised in the hardware buy-flow, online and in-store, working with Apple Retail and the Apple Online Store to influence placement, messaging, and attach
Lead cross-functional execution end to end: align Finance on business cases and funding, Marketing on assets, Product and Commerce on buy-flow and billing requirements, and Sales on partner engagement
Own the program rhythm — milestones, dependencies, risks, and status — and keep senior leadership and partner teams informed and aligned
Measure performance, read out results, and iterate; feed learnings back into the broader Commercial growth roadmap
Represent the Commercial team with hardware and channel counterparts, building trusted relationships that make future programs easier to land

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years in strategy activation, program management, go-to-market, channel or retail marketing, business development, or a related commercial role
Demonstrated track record of driving cross-functional programs from idea to launch, with multiple stakeholder teams and no direct authority over the
