You will lead Amazon's long-range planning cycles (OP1/OP2/QxG) for GXD capacity, develop volume forecasts, partner with business teams on new marketplace and program launches, and govern capacity decisions through structured monthly and quarterly review mechanisms. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of strategic planning and cross-functional execution, with direct impact on Amazon's ability to scale global imports efficiently.
Key job responsibilities

- Build and maintain demand-to-capacity models that translate SCOT/S&OP topline forecasts into node-level capacity requirements across multiple constraint types.
- Partner with business teams (Direct Import, GPE, FBA Global Shipping) on new launch roadmaps, ensuring GXD readiness for marketplace expansions and program growth.
- Establish and lead capacity governance mechanisms — Monthly and Quarterly Capacity Reviews — providing end-to-end visibility from GXD origin through ocean, dray, and destination processing.
- Proactively identify capacity risks, develop mitigation strategies, and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Ocean Procurement, Dray, Destination Ops, Finance, and SCOT to align capacity plans across the full imports supply chain.
