Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning applications and data to cloud environments. This role includes planning and executing migration strategies that ensure scalability and high performance, utilizing both private and public cloud platforms. The position requires close collaboration with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption during the transition process. Continuous monitoring and optimization of migrated solutions are also key aspects of the daily workflow.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration processes and address any challenges that arise.
- Document migration procedures and best practices to support knowledge sharing and future projects.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration activities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Architecture.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and migration methodologies.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems in cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database and migration issues.
- Familiarity with data security and compliance standards relevant to cloud migrations.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
