Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes strategizing and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and optimized for performance. The position requires collaboration with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to leverage both private and public cloud technologies to achieve advanced business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and integration of applications and data.
- Monitor and optimize cloud migration processes to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Document migration plans, processes, and outcomes to support knowledge sharing and future projects.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Architecture, Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Experience with cloud platforms and migration tools to facilitate smooth transition of workloads.
- Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database and migration issues.
- Familiarity with data security and compliance standards relevant to cloud environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
