SAP SD Consultant

About the Role

Accenture is seeking experienced SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) professionals to join our SAP practice. This role is suitable for SAP professionals with strong functional expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C), sales operations, pricing, billing, logistics execution, and end-to-end commercial processes.

You will work closely with sales, commercial, supply chain, finance, and technology stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize SAP SD and SAP S/4HANA solutions that improve order management, customer experience, operational efficiency, and integration across enterprise processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end SAP SD implementations, S/4HANA transformations, rollouts, enhancements, and application support engagements.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions across Order-to-Cash processes.
• Configure and support SAP SD capabilities including sales orders, quotations, contracts, scheduling agreements, deliveries, billing, returns, and credit/debit processes.
• Design and configure pricing procedures, condition techniques, output requirements, partner determination, availability checks, and relevant master data.
• Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops, fit-gap assessments, process design sessions, and functional solution discussions with business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with SAP FI/CO, MM, PP/QM, EWM/WM, TM, and technical/integration teams to deliver seamless end-to-end processes.
• Support functional specifications, data migration, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation stabilization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or another relevant discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in SAP SD, Order-to-Cash, sales operations, or related SAP functional consulting roles.
• Hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and implementation, rollout, upgrade, or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end O2C processes, including sales order processing, pricing, delivery, billing, returns, and integration with Finance.
• Experience across requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Sales and S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Experience integrating SAP SD with FI/CO, MM, PP, EWM/WM, TM, or other relevant SAP modules.
• Exposure to advanced scenarios such as third-party sales, intercompany sales, consignment, make-to-order, returns, rebate/settlement processes, or credit management.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and modern S/4HANA sales processes.
• Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, retail, chemicals, resources, automotive, or other industries with complex O2C processes.
• Relevant SAP S/4HANA Sales or SAP SD certification.
