BUILD AI-NATIVE DIGITAL EXPERIENCES ON THE SALESFORCE PLATFORM

Join Illumina Digital Services (IDS) and help build, enhance, and support customer and business solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Working alongside experienced engineers and business teams, you will gain hands-on experience with Salesforce technologies, enterprise integrations, AI-native web development, and modern engineering practices while building a strong foundation for a career in Web Engineering.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This role follows Illumina's hybrid work model and requires employees to work from the office a minimum of three days per week.
• Collaborate with engineers and business teams on enterprise-scale customer solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build, test, deploy, and support applications and digital experiences on the Salesforce platform.
• Develop workflows, automations, integrations, and AI-enhanced user experiences.
• Configure and extend Salesforce capabilities to support customer and business operations.
• Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems, APIs, cloud services, and AI-powered solutions.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, documentation, and production support.
• Contribute to automation, developer productivity, and AI-native engineering initiatives.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining quality, security, privacy, and reliability.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We recognize that candidates may not have experience with every technology listed. We value curiosity, learning agility, problem-solving ability, and practical application demonstrated through academic projects, internships, hackathons, open-source contributions, or independent learning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Foundational programming skills using JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of web development fundamentals, APIs, databases, and software development practices.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web application concepts.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ownership, adaptability, integrity, and commitment to continuous learning.

Preferred Exposure

• Salesforce Platform, Service Cloud, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Flow, ServiceMax, enterprise integrations, or AI-enabled application development.
• REST APIs, cloud services, DevOps concepts, CI/CD, testing practices, or software engineering best practices.
• AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
