In this Vice-President-level role, you will help provide risk coverage of Flow Credit Trading and Agency and Non-Agency Mortgage trading, working at the intersection of risk analytics, capital management, and senior business leadership. Responsibilities

  • Monitor systemic and idiosyncratic risks across Spread Products Trading, engaging regularly with senior business and risk leadership to ensure material risks are identified and escalated appropriately.

  • Partner with quantitative analytics and technology teams to build a comprehensive risk monitoring framework that supports portfolio risk management and efficient capital allocation.
  • Develop a front-to-back understanding of risk across Spread Products Trading, covering all capital attribution dimensions including Stress losses and Value-at-Risk, and strengthen the governance and control environment accordingly.
  • Collaborate with independent risk teams to size and calibrate appropriate risk limits for the business and monitor utilization across portfolios.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey risk positions and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Effective relationship management skills, with a collaborative approach to working across trading, risk, technology, and regulatory functions.
  • Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and intellectually curious about financial markets, market structure, and trading dynamics.
