Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning applications and data to cloud environments. This role includes strategizing and executing migration plans that ensure scalability and high performance, utilizing both private and public cloud platforms. The position requires close collaboration with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to achieve modernized, efficient, and future-ready technology landscapes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design migration strategies.
- Monitor and optimize migration processes to ensure minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Document migration procedures and best practices to support knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members in understanding migration workflows and troubleshooting issues.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Architecture.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and migration methodologies.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
- Ability to analyze complex infrastructure and application dependencies for migration planning.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools to streamline migration tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
