This remote role is open to US based candidates, no relation is available.
Meet the Team
You will join the Global GTM Incubation & Emerging Technologies team, responsible for commercializing and scaling Cisco’s newest technology innovations. Sourced directly from our Product and Business Units, these rapid innovations require a specialized, agile approach to find market fit before they can be absorbed by the mainstream sales force. Our mission is to partner with Product leaders to develop, test, and validate early-stage GTM hypotheses. We will work to secure the company’s first "lighthouse" customer wins, and build the repeatable sales and partner playbooks required to bring these products into the broader Specialist and Generalist sales organizations.
Your Impact
As Leader, Partner Sales, you’ll build and scale partner go-to-market for products under incubation across five interconnected routes: GSI/advisory, SP/telco, ISV/OEM, hyperscaler/neocloud, and frontier-model providers. You will lead a dedicated team and the Incubation partner operating plan, setting goals for the partner portfolio, team performance, and investment priorities, with an executive interlock into the category organization.
Your focus is the Incubation product practice and the opportunities it builds within existing partner relationships. You will work in close lockstep with Portfolio and Specialist Partner Managers, Splunk Partner Managers, and the relevant partner relationship owners; you bring the Incubation products, offers, and execution into shared partner plans and account activity.
A significant part of your impact will be building capability across adjacent Cisco teams and partner organizations. You will strengthen their understanding of Incubation products and services, equip them with repeatable plays, and help establish dedicated practices on the partner side. For Incubation opportunities, you will shape partner segmentation, target waves, route-to-market choices, and joint offers; sponsor GSI activation and SP/telco managed services in coordination with the relevant partner managers; coach senior individual contributors; and supervise verified partner-sourced pipeline and bookings.
