The Apple Cloud UI team is responsible for building a world-class cloud portal experience on top of a diverse ecosystem of APIs. We are looking for a talented and driven frontend-focused Software Engineer to join our team and help us shape the future of cloud management at Apple. Description

As a Software Engineer on the Apple Cloud UI team, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud portal. You will work closely with HI designers, product managers, and other engineering teams to drive projects forward as a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI). You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. We're looking for a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building exceptional user experiences.

* Design, develop, and maintain features for our cloud portal using React and TypeScript.
* Collaborate with HI designers to translate designs into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
* Work closely with product managers to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and develop timelines and roadmaps.
* Act as a DRI for projects, taking ownership from conception to deployment.
* Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
* Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
* Contribute to the development of internal frontend tooling.
* Explore and prototype new technologies, including GenAI, to improve our workflows and products.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
Experience building complex web applications with a focus on user experience.
Experience implementing APIs in user interfaces.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with Node and full-stack development.
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GenAI technologies and their integration into web applications is a strong plus.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Pay & Benefits — Seattle, Washington, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,300 and $263,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
