JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

Accenture's Data & AI practice empowers global enterprises to modernize data foundations, scale generative and agentic AI, and achieve measurable business reinvention. Its end-to-end capabilities span data platform modernization, cloud migration of legacy data estates, development of cutting-edge AI and Gen AI solutions, and production support for AI and Data applications.

YOU ARE: GEN AI PRESALES SOLUTION ARCHITECT

As a Gen AI Presales Solution Architect, you will lead the end-to-end solution blueprint and roadmap, acting as the bridge between client vision and technology execution. You will be instrumental in translating business problems into technology solutions and maintaining stakeholder alignment throughout the deal lifecycle.

In this role, you will gain experience designing AI and Gen AI solutions and working across global delivery and sales teams. You will work across cloud platforms, industries, and geographies, providing broad and deep exposure. You will also deepen your expertise in emerging technologies such as large language models (LLMs), AI and machine learning, and agents, preparing you for the future.

THE WORK

• Understand RFPs and RFIs and translate business needs into technical architectures spanning data engineering, data visualisation, AI, Gen AI, and agents.
• Define end-to-end application architecture diagrams, from data ingestion and consumption through to AI and agent-based solutions.
• Align technology components, including LLMs, vector databases, graph databases, agents, and APIs, with business use cases.
• Prepare detailed ADM effort estimates and obtain validation from AI and Data capability subject matter experts.
• Design optimal staffing models based on the appropriate onshore, offshore, and nearshore mix and pyramid structure.
• Build solution plan PowerPoint decks to support sales and delivery alignment.
• Participate in solution and delivery reviews with leadership across geographies.
• Act as the strategic link between sales and delivery teams.
• Contribute to client-facing proposals, statements of work, and contracting documents.
• Present and defend the proposed solution in internal and external forums.
• Seamlessly transition the solution to the delivery team following deal closure.
• Travel may be required. The amount of travel will vary from 10% to 25%, depending on business needs and client requirements.

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED

Must have:

• Strong AI and Gen AI experience in systems integration or application development projects.
• Working knowledge of cloud ecosystems, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to identify, drive, and quantify productivity improvements within solutions and clearly justify the approach.
• Ability to incorporate agentic and future-focused ways of working into AI projects.
• Experience designing solutions using Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent-to-Agent (A2A), and other relevant protocols.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant IT industry experience in AI / Data delivery or presales.
• Ability to understand business processes and convert them into agentic workflows.
• Ability to determine when to use traditional AI models versus a modern AI technology stack.
• Understanding of token economics and the ability to design solutions that manage its cost and performance impacts.
• Commitment to staying current with advanced AI initiatives and emerging technologies.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, filters, and VLOOKUP.
• Willingness and ability to travel for work as required
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional and global environments.

 

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

• Strong PowerPoint skills for leadership and client storytelling.
• External client-facing consulting experience.

Melbourne preference however may consider Sydney
