About the Role:
Grade Level (for internal use):
13The Team
The Content Innovation & Visualization team works across S&P Global Ratings to make complex information easier to understand, explore, and act on. Bringing together business knowledge, data, technology, visualization, and storytelling, the team develops solutions ranging from dashboards and interactive experiences to AI-enabled workflows and executive communications. The team partners closely with analytical, business, technology, product, commercial, and leadership teams to translate important business needs into practical, scalable solutions that support internal decision-making and how Ratings research, data, and insights are communicated to the market.
Responsibilities and Impact
In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from early-stage concept through delivery and adoption. You will bring structure to ambiguous business problems, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and connect business needs with data, technology, AI, and effective communication — moving fluidly between strategy and hands-on execution. The role leads primarily through projects, partnerships, and influence rather than direct people management.
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition and requirements gathering through solution development, implementation, and adoption — managing priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations across concurrent workstreams.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with analytical teams, business leaders, technology and product partners, and other key stakeholders across S&P Global Ratings; facilitate conversations that clarify problems, challenge assumptions, and align stakeholders around practical solutions.
- Determine the right approach for each business challenge — whether through data analysis, visualization, AI, process improvement, storytelling, or a combination — and identify opportunities to use data, analytics, automation, and AI to improve decision-making, productivity, and user experiences.
- Work directly with data, AI tools, and analytical technologies to explore ideas, test assumptions, and develop early-stage prototypes; partner with technical specialists to move viable concepts from experimentation to scalable solutions.
- Translate complex research, data, and business information into clear, actionable narratives; develop and guide executive presentations, dashboards, interactive content, and other stakeholder-facing materials, presenting findings and recommendations confidently to senior audiences.
- Evaluate emerging tools based on practical value, accuracy, and alignment with data and technology controls; contribute to repeatable approaches, standards, and best practices that strengthen the team's ability to deliver consistently and scale across the organization.
