Project Role : DevOps Engineer
Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
Must have skills : Kubernetes
Good to have skills : Ansible on Microsoft Azure

Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This role requires setting up and maintaining continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. The engineer actively monitors and tests these pipelines to maintain system integrity and security. Collaboration with various teams to align infrastructure with project goals and troubleshooting any issues that arise are also key aspects of the daily routine. The role demands a proactive approach to enhancing development environments and safeguarding systems from potential security vulnerabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of CI/CD pipelines.

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps, EKS, Helm Charts, Ansible, Terraform and Docker Skills.
- Experience and skills in setup the infrastructure on AWS cloud with EKS, Helm charts.
- Proficient in developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Github or other CI/CD tool.s
- Ability to debug and fix the issues in environment setup and in CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge and experience doing automation of infra and application setup using Ansible and Terraform.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Openshift or other containerization technical skills
- Experience in scripting languages for automation and configuration management.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based in Hyderabad.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
