Summary:
In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This position requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The role demands continuous alignment of software solutions with organizational goals, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive innovation and problem-solving is a key aspect, alongside fostering an environment that supports quality and efficiency throughout the development process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate custom software solutions seamlessly within existing systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development workflows and product delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
- Strong knowledge of IT operations management and discovery processes within enterprise environments.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs related to ServiceNow platforms.
- Excellent understanding of performance optimization and code quality best practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
