As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires engaging in coding activities, collaborating with team members to refine functionalities, and continuously improving software performance. Working within an agile environment, the engineer focuses on delivering scalable and efficient solutions that align with evolving business requirements, ensuring that the software meets the specific needs of the organization while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Maintain and update existing software components to improve functionality and resolve issues.
- Document development processes and provide clear communication on project progress.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
- Experience with configuration and customization of ServiceNow ITOM Discovery modules.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and network protocols relevant to discovery processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to discovery data and integrations.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
- Knowledge of best practices in IT operations management and discovery workflows.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
