Bring your industry perspective and customer commitment to help manufacturers strengthen competitiveness and realize value across their businesses.

Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on partnering with customers to achieve strategic goals. This team is responsible for providing differentiated customer experience for our customers, delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.

As Sales Director, you will be a first-line Account Team Unit (ATU) people leader of Account Executives/account directors and Account Technology Strategists (ATSs) serving a portfolio of Upper Majors discrete manufacturing customers. You will develop sales strategies, coach coordinated account execution, and build trusted customer and partner relationships. This remote opportunity will deepen your manufacturing business acumen, executive engagement, and people leadership.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Establish disciplined pipeline development, opportunity reviews, and forecasting across the portfolio, helping teams connect solution value to customer investment decisions and sustained use of Microsoft technologies.

  • Deliver success through model, coach, and care. Set clear expectations, empower Account Executives/account directors and ATSs, and coach effective account planning and execution. Foster an inclusive culture of learning, achievement, and accountability that supports individual and team performance.

  • Hire, retain, and develop talent to meet evolving manufacturing and customer needs. Build sales and technical-sales capability, provide actionable feedback and development opportunities, and cultivate internal talent so teams can grow their expertise and take on greater responsibility.

  • Apply manufacturing industry and market expertise to identify new opportunities aligned with customer needs.
