Title and Summary
Specialist, Talent Acquisition (Technology Recruiter)OverviewTechnology is at the heart of everything we do, and our European Tech Hub in Dublin is central to that. We're looking for a Technology Recruiter to join our European Technology Talent Acquisition team. You'll help us hire the engineers, product people and technical specialists who build Mastercard's future.
This isn't a generalist recruiting role. You'll focus on a group of related technology job families and become the go-to talent expert for them. You'll build deep knowledge of the skills, markets and people involved. You'll work with hiring managers across Europe and use a skills-based approach, modern tools and data to deliver great hiring outcomes and a candidate experience people remember for the right reasons.
What you'll do
• Own end-to-end hiring for your job families, from intake to offer, across Dublin and our wider European locations.
• Lead skills-focused kick-off meetings with hiring managers to agree on role requirements, critical skills, level and how candidates will be assessed.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for your job families that stay open all the time, rather than filling one vacancy at a time.
• Source and engage talent directly through LinkedIn, networking, communities, referrals, events and social media.
• Write clear, inclusive job postings that describe roles in terms of skills.
• Screen and assess candidates against defined skills, using structured interviews, scorecards and technical assessment partners.
• Share market insight with stakeholders on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, competitor activity and emerging skills.
• Track your hiring data, including pipeline health, time-to-fill and diversity, and use it to spot risks and keep hiring moving.
• Keep candidates, hiring managers and your leader informed with clear, timely updates.
• Use AI-enabled recruiting tools and suggest new ways to make our hiring smarter and simpler.
• Take practical, deliberate steps to make our hiring process inclusive and fair.
About you
• Experience recruiting for technology roles from start to finish, whether in-house, in an agency or both.
• Confident sourcing people directly and building talent pipelines for technical roles.
• Good understanding of the Irish and European technology talent market.
• Comfortable talking about technical skills with engineers and hiring managers. You don't need to be technical, just curious.
• Organised and able to manage several open roles at once with pace, accuracy and follow-through.
• Comfortable using data to make decisions and share insights.
• Open to using AI and new technology in your work.
• Experience with Workday or a similar applicant tracking system is helpful but not essential.
Why join us
You'll join a supportive, high-performing team. You'll build real specialist expertise and work on some of the most interesting technology hiring in Europe. You'll also have room to grow your career, whether that means deeper specialism, leading a group of job families, or moving into a broader talent role.
We know great people don't always meet every requirement. If this role excites you, we'd love to hear from you.
