Original job description

Content provided by the employer

The VP of CreativeX & Retail Ads Services is seeking a strong partner EA who will operate as a valued member of the leadership team. This team is focused on democratizing access to high-quality creatives (images, videos) by building GenAI-driven solutions for advertisers. We’re looking for a proactive, tech savvy problem solver who will thrive in a startup-like environment where they are empowered to figure things out and pivot quickly as priorities change.

You will be undeterred by ambiguous asks, taking initiative in support of key operational mechanisms such as offsite agendas, annual planning cycles, ROB and other workback plans with a flexible framework that allows for creative tangents and spontaneous brainstorming, all while maintaining order within a culture of innovation.

This EA role requires excellent judgement, communication, and planning skills. You will have a strong bias for action combined with the ability to dive deep, anticipating needs based on a thorough understanding of internal tools and leader/team priorities. A high level of integrity and discretion handling confidential information and professionalism dealing with senior executives inside and outside the company is important. This role coordinates frequently with EAs and other partners across the broader Amazon Ads organization. Looking around corners, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across global teams are key to success.

This role requires five (5) days a week in office.

Key job responsibilities
- Complex calendar management and coordination for high-level internal and external meetings
- Seamlessly manage detailed domestic and international travel itineraries, as well as expense reporting
- Partner closely with the leadership team, key business partners, and Amazon Ads EAs to provide holistic support to the team
- Track, follow-up, and help drive completion of key deliverables on behalf of the VP
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with a variety of groups including peers, internal and external stakeholders
- Manage team space planning, events, and other projects as needed

A day in the life
A typical day will involve managing a high volume of email for self and on behalf of the VP, coordinating with EAs across the organization to schedule complex meetings, partnering closely with the leadership team on various events, initiatives, and ads industry related activities. Working in an ambiguous environment, you will proactively complete tasks and projects quickly with excellent attention to detail and little to no guidance, taking effective action without having to know the whole picture.

About the team
The majority of the team is distributed across Seattle and NYC, with a small team in Edinburgh. This role reports directly to the VP who is based in Seattle, with a second EA based in NYC supporting team Directors.
